Two posts, one day!?

The next posting about Moosonee will be in a few hours! But there is just way to much going on right now to ignore...

------

While we were away, most probably noticed a rather large storm that blew through... Well it was a record-setting storm. Lowest pressure ever recorded in the centre of the continent. Similar to what one would see in the eye of a Cat 3 Hurricane!!!!

Outside of Long Point, (and Kirk Zufelt's VEGA GULL), most of Ontario seems pretty happy with Cattle Egrets and Cave Swallows, but there are more mega-rare's out there to be found! Head out and look! There have been 2 Common Ground Doves in MI and another in NY!!!

I sure do enjoy my job. Today's highlight:

Another addition to the "while getting paid" list

-----

Now it's time for a good old question:

How does one tell a Richardson's (Prairie) Merlin with confidence? (im not confident) Yes these photos were taken in the eastern side of Ontario yesterday!

Any takers? I won't be home to check my books until Friday night! eep!
