While I barely remember it, I made my first trip to the Rainy River area of Ontario back in June... What a crazy place! I was only armed with a 100mm macro lens for the duration, so the photos stink. Nonetheless, I took some photos of the crazy landscapes (for NW Ontario) to show off the place:
I'm not sure I would ever "go back" totally on my own (unless work had me in the area, or otherwise) - but it was a lot of fun driving around for the day! I had no idea where I was going, but still saw many of the "expected" birds. More tomorrow
