[Ont-Odes] Painted Skimmer in eastern Norfolk County

Below is a post I did to Ont-Odes just now...When the birding gets slow, the odes get great! Unlike ontbirds, our group is small - so feel free to sign up and join the ode chat:

Group motto: Dragonflies in Ontario. Report your sightings, pose questions and learn more about Odonata in Ontario.

Painted Skimmer - June 1st

While doing a work survey (private property) yesterday June 1st, I found a very cooperative Painted Skimmer on the edge of a woodlot, away from water. Just a heads up! The location is eastern Norfolk County along the lake.

Today near Fort Erie I had my first Swamp Darner of the year. Happy Ode'ing
