Update: I should have turned these weather bits into a separate  blog post - but an update will do. 




There is a well defined cold front pushing down from our north. This should be interesting to see what it brings. (Jaegers? Lots of Warblers? Remaining shorebirds? - I think it would be cool to see something like some Cackling or Snow Geese in southern Ontario after this)..



 Not really sure what it might bring, but it's very much worth watching in my opinion... 


Forecast from southern James Bay tells you where the birds might be coming from - 

Gale warning in effect.Wind northwest 35 knots diminishing to northwest 30 late this afternoon then increasing to northwest 35 late overnight. Wind diminishing to northwest 20 Thursday afternoon and to light Thursday evening.
