Beamer again



My Dad and I spent a few hours at the Beamer Hawkwatch in Grimsby yesterday. (Apr 3)... It was pretty slow for a good part of it, but we still managed some birds. Here's my guesses at numbers:


Red-tailed Hawk - 25
Sharp-shinned Hawk - 15
Red-shouldered Hawk - 1
Cooper's Hawk - 4
Northern Harrier - 4
Turkey Vulture - 120
Golden Eagle - 1

Some other birds: Fox Sparrows, Common Loon, Bonaparte's Gulls, Great Blue Herons, etc


Pretty short report. The Golden Eagle was distant to the north, so for filler, here's my Golden Eagle video (again) from this past winter:
