Snowfall accumulation over the next 80ish hours for north america... And you're not reading that wrong, there's a chance that New York could see close to 12 inches in some places... 

Here's hoping that model run doesn't pan out!

Some more pics of the "Slaty-backed Gull" my Dad and I had at wheatley harbour yesterday... 

fairly short primary projection.. Shows a "skirt" in every photo

Had no pink on the bill. EVERY other 1st ba Herring Gull had obvious pink on the bill at this time of year. 

Very pale (recalls Thayer's) on the underside of the primaries

Pale yet contrasting unlike Thayers..
