Checked out Burlington Beach yesterday for any additional dead birds of note.. The haul was a much more expected 2 Herring Gulls and 4 Cormorants... The odd's and sod's included a lot of dead fish, lots of golf balls, and a dead squirrel..
Only birds of note was a few Red Crossbills I heard flying over (2-3ish birds, didn't see them)..
======================
Big warm front moving into southern Ontario this weekend - with a big southerly flow... It's nothing tooo crazy from a weather perspective, but it IS the second week of November, so who knows what could happen!
It's enough to entice me to go to Pelee for a grand finale to the 50 days of rare thing that I've largely forgotten about, and ends on Nov 14th.. .
Would really like to find a mega rare passerine or near-passerine! Although any rarity will do... Still want that Brown-chested Martin
