Personal fall count results!

Dave Bell and I tackled Windemere Basin to LaSalle Park in Burlington for the Hamilton Fall Bird Count on Nov 4th...

Some highlights: lots of ducks, grebes, White-winged Crossbill, Evening Grosbeak, Eastern Towhee, 5 Black-crowned Night-Herons, etc

The bird of the day was spotted by Dave at LaSalle Park - an American Redstart! Even more unusual was the fact it was in a garden shrub in front of the pavilion...

We tried to twitch the Western Tanager found by Cheryl Edgecombe and Rob Dobos, but failed.... Also tried to poach some pelagics at VWB and failed... Ah well - the Chili was delicious as usual afterwards!!
